How do I add my first credit card?
Go to the Cards section and tap "Add Card". You can either select from our preset cards or manually add a custom card with your specific rewards and benefits.
What information do I need to add a card?
For preset cards, just select the card name. For manual cards, you'll need the card name, annual fee, and a description of the rewards (e.g., "3x dining, 2% groceries, 1.5% everything else").
How do I start tracking transactions?
Navigate to the Transactions section and tap "Add Transaction". Enter the merchant name, amount, and select which card you used. The app will automatically suggest the best card for future purchases.

How does the card recommendation system work?
Our system analyzes your spending patterns, card rewards, and user preferences to suggest the optimal card for each transaction. It considers cashback percentages, points multipliers, and miles earning rates.
Why does the app suggest different cards for different purchases?
Different cards offer varying rewards for different spending categories. For example, a card might give 3% back on dining but only 1% on groceries. The app automatically detects the merchant category and suggests the card with the highest rewards.
How accurate are the reward calculations?
Our calculations are estimates based on the information you provide. Actual rewards may vary due to card issuer policies, spending limits, or category changes. Always verify with your card issuer.

Yes! Go to your Profile to set preferences for different reward types. You can prioritize cashback, travel points, or general points based on your financial goals.
How do I set up a monthly budget?
Navigate to the Budget section to set monthly spending limits. The app will track your spending against your budget and provide insights on your financial habits.
Is my data secure?

Troubleshooting
The app isn't suggesting the right card
Check that your card rewards are correctly entered. For manual cards, ensure the benefits text clearly describes the rewards (e.g., "3% dining" not just "3x dining"). The app automatically parses this text to understand your rewards.
My transactions aren't saving
Ensure you have sufficient storage space on your device. The app stores data locally, so clearing app data will remove your information. Try restarting the app if issues persist.
The app is running slowly
Try closing and reopening the app, or restart your device. If you have many transactions, consider archiving older ones to improve performance.
